Goal Setting Workshop

How are you doing with the goals you set it January? Feeling stuck? Or like you never got started at all?
Dr. Lena Meyer, an expert transformational coach, will guide us through the process of plugging into the heart of what matters most. We will work individually and in small groups to create our vision for our personal and professional lives. Through a journey of positive awareness, you will realize what you've already accomplished, and leave with actionable steps for future success.
Let's reboot those 2017 goals so we can "Put purpose into action from within."

Kent Raible - A Unique Approach to 18k Fabrication: Copper-salt Assisted Fusion and Granulation

This event is hosted by the Seattle Metals Guild

Kent Raible will cover 35 years of work using a very specific technique he learned in Germany in the early 80's. He will explain the concepts and some of the intricacies involved with high Karat gold fusion and granulation. A question and answer period will follow where he will answer your questions about his process and the making of pieces that will be available to view.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Lectures begin at 7:00pm and ends at 8:00pm

Training Your Eye with Karen Lorene

Seattle Pacific University, Otto Miller Hall, Seattle, WA. Karen Lorene, owner of Facere Jewelry Art Gallery will be lecturing on Training Your Eye, a participatory presentation in which the viewer chooses one piece of antique jewelry over another depending on rarity and craftsmanship. These images and this lecture constitute an exercise in choice. At the end of viewing some eighty images, one should be better informed about what, how and why choices are made. The focus of the exercise is to, as the title says, "Train Your Eye."
